Terms & Conditions

By making a booking, you agree to our terms and conditions as outlined below.

 

1. Membership and Access

  • Daily hot desk and private office rentals are available to individuals aged 18 and over

  • Access is granted during standard business hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays only

 

2. Booking and Payment

  • Desk and office spaces can be reserved online or in-person

  • Payment is required at the time of booking online

  • Rates for the daily hot-desks are per person, per day. Rates for the Conference Table are for a small group of people (up to 7 people) for a half-day (either morning or afternoon). The rates for the Private office spaces are per office, per day.

  • Bookings can be rescheduled at any time either online or by contacting The Village Workspace team members directly. Bookings can be cancelled online, with a full refund, up until 24 hours beforehand. If you need to cancel a booking the day before, and do not wish to reschedule to another time, please get in touch with us to organise a refund.

  • No refunds for partial day usage.

 

3. Usage Guidelines

  • The Village Workspace is to be used for professional work purposes, personal admin and creative work only. Co-workers must not use the space for any illegal purpose.

  • Co-workers may use the space for the period that they have booked.  

  • A Village Workspace manager will be present daily at the premises to assist you with any queries, use of equipment, access to amenities or issues that may arise.  

  • Due to the open plan layout of The Village Workspace, we ask that you consider other co-workers and refrain from taking frequent phone calls inside. Co-workers can step outside for phone conversations to ensure privacy and limit disturbances to other users. If your line of work involves constant phone use throughout business hours (eg, telemarketing, broker etc) you are welcome to book a private office.

  • Users of the space are responsible for:

  • Keeping their booked workspace clean and tidy

  • Respecting other user's privacy and work environment

  • Using provided equipment and facilities with care

4. Internet and Equipment

  • High-speed WiFi is provided

  • Printing and basic office equipment available (printing will incur additional fees)

  • Co-workers are responsible for their own devices and data security

  • Co-workers understand that outages or decreased service levels that are out of our control may occur from time to time, and that you are responsible for any backup internet measures (i.e. phone hotspot or dongle connection) as are necessary for your business.

 

5. Liability and Insurance

  • We hold a public liability insurance policy that covers The Village Workspace, however this does not extend to your private property.

  • The coworking space is not liable for:

    • Personal belongings

    • Device damage or theft

 

6. Conduct and Termination

  • Offensive language, inappropriate or threatening behaviour towards staff or other Co-workers using the space will not be tolerated.

  • Management reserves the right to terminate a booking, without refund for violation of terms

 

7. Privacy and Data

  • All online purchases that are made through our booking site are processed securely and externally by Stripe. Unless you expressly consent otherwise, we do not see or have access to any personal information that you may provide to Stripe, other than information that is required in order to process your order (eg, your name, email address and billing/postal address).

  • We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of the information that you provide us and we will take all reasonable precautions to protect your personal information from unauthorised use or alteration. In our business, personal information will be stored electronically (on our computer systems and with our website hosting provider).
